St. Patrick's Day Fun

It has been an eventful weekend and I have loved every minute of it!  Friday was Lilly's 1st birthday, so we spent the afternoon with her at the beach.  We drove down to the south end of Wrightsville so she could swim.  She loves swimming (as any lab does).  It's crazy to think my little puppy is already 1!

Saturday was my roommate, Katie's birthday.  What an awesome birthday to have on St. Patrick's day.  We had people over at our house all day.  We had oysters and I tried my first one and loved it!  This is a big deal for me since I do not like seafood at all.  I used to be so jealous when we would go to oyster roasts because I always wanted to eat one but was scared it would make me sick.  I thought this was the best time to try it since it was at my house.  It was nice being able to spend the day outside with friends enjoying the beautiful weather.  I even got a little sun on my face and shoulders!
