#13: Tyler

The final thing that I am going to be blogging about in February of things I love is my relationship with Tyler.  Let me start by saying that I am not one of those girls who posts things about how much they love their boyfriend because I usually think it is so silly.  However, I couldn't not write about Tyler in the things I love because he has become such an important part of my life.  (After all, he did make me this wonderful blog, remember!)

Tyler and I have been dating for almost 2 1/2 years.  He is my best friend and my support system at all times.  We are different in many ways, yet we have so much in common.  Tyler came into my life at a time when I needed him the most.  I truly believe that he was a gift from God when my mom passed away.  Tyler is the most humble person I have ever met.  He makes me so proud every day.  I feel blessed to have him in my life.

Here are some pictures of us throughout the past couple years:

#12: Needlepoint Products

I have always been a huge fan of Smathers and Branson because of their unique designs and talent when making needlepoint items.  They have recently expanded their company and are making more products for women.  I am in love with all of it.

Tyler gave me this key fob a couple years ago for Christmas.  I have used it ever since.

They even have dog collars now for your little furry friends!

I love their adorable headbands

#11: Bows

I love all things that are girly.  Bows are my personal favorite.  There is something about a bow that just brightens an outfit and day.  Whether it's in your hair or on your dress, it is an adorable addition.  No matter how much older I get, I still love wearing bows.

Emma Graham Designs  is a wonderful company that customizes dresses.  I think this dress is ideal for Carolina Cup or the Derby.  They came to our campus a couple of years ago prior to Carolina Cup.  You are able to pick from an assortment of colors and design your own dress.

#10: Lilly Pulitzer

I usually try to avoid the Lilly Pulitzer store in Wilmington because I am too tempted to buy things.  I went this past week to buy my grand-little, Katie, a birthday present.  I couldn't believe that I hadn't been there since Christmas.  They have gotten in so many cute things for the house and accessories.

This is what Kayla and I gave Katie for her birthday.  It is an insulated cooler with a drink opener and wine bottle opener.  I'm officially obsessed.

I got this jewelry pouch for my birthday in November from Katie and Kayla.  I adore it so much!

Have y'all gotten any of Lilly Pulitzer's new items for the home or accessories?

#9: Loving Others

I've never been a huge fan of Valentine's Day, but I do love spending time with my loved ones.  The eve of Valentine's Day I made breakfast for dinner.  Since I have to be at school by 7:30 every morning, a romantic breakfast on Valentine's Day wasn't really an option for me.  I decided to make this for dinner.  I used a heart cookie cutter to cut out the inside of a piece of bread and then made the eggs over easy.  Who doesn't like breakfast for dinner, anyways?

Valentine's Day is 10 times better with kids.  I loved giving the kids gifts and watching them open up theirs.  It was a fun-filled day.

Tyler took me to a romantic dinner at Bridge Tender.  It was so nice to take a step back from our busy day and enjoy each other's company.  After dinner, we watched a movie and enjoyed a slice of cheesecake from The Cheesecake Factory for dessert.  I'm so thankful for him in my life.

How was everyone's Valentine's Day?

#8: Harry Barker Dog Collars

My sweet chocolate lab, Lilly, has a birthday coming up in March.  She will be 1 and I can't believe how big she has gotten.  I've been looking for a new collar for her recently and had almost decided on one until Tyler found this great website today.  Harry Barker is a company that caters to all the things you need for your dog.  They have adorable collars that would make any dog happy.  I will be sure to post a picture once her collar comes in.

I just love her so much!

Lilly is getting the pink and navy Newport collar.  I just had to have it when I saw it.  I might even buy the matching leash.

#7: Tugs

I bought my first pair of Tugs about a year ago and I have been wearing them ever since.  When I bought mine, the colors were limited to only a few colors of seersucker.  They now have many colors of seersucker and checkered tugs.  They are the perfect accessory for summer days, which I wish would get here soon.
